Founder & creative lead · Sault Ste. Marie
Meet Jacob Cedolia.
The filmmaker and photographer behind First Fruit Films. Built in Sault Ste. Marie, with small business roots and a personal approach to every production.
Grassroots beginnings
A local beginning. A lasting relationship.
Jacob built First Fruit Films from the ground up, helping local businesses tell their stories. Filming businesses, families and live moments shaped his approach: understand what the work needs to accomplish, then make room for honest moments.
Today, his work spans business campaigns, documentary weddings and larger creative productions across Northern Ontario. Clients work directly with Jacob, from the first conversation to final delivery.

The studio approach
One creative lead. The right team.
Film comes first in Jacob’s process. Movement, voice and sound reveal the character of a story; photography extends that same creative direction.
When a production needs more hands, Jacob brings in trusted collaborators. You keep one accountable creative lead and a team shaped around the work.
What guides the studio
Faith. Family. Stewardship. Growth.
“Honour the LORD with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase: So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine.”
Proverbs 3:9 and 10
