First Fruit Films began by helping local businesses tell better stories. Today, Jacob leads film first production and photography for growing companies, wedding celebrations and larger creative projects across Northern Ontario.

A filmmaker who understands what the work carries.
Jacob Cedolia built First Fruit Films from the ground up in Sault Ste. Marie. Years spent filming businesses, families and live moments taught him that strong production is not only about how an image looks. It is about understanding what the client needs the work to accomplish and creating the conditions for honest moments to happen.
He now leads projects that range from grassroots campaigns to complex productions with larger teams. Film comes first in his process because movement, voice and sound reveal the character of a story. Photography follows as a focused extension of that same direction. Clients work directly with Jacob, from defining the purpose through the final delivery.
